Field Service Technician — Commercial Laundry

Full-Time Brooklyn / NYC $24 – $38 / hour

Diagnose and repair commercial washers and dryers in laundromats, hotels, and multi-family buildings. You will drive a company van, work with a rotating list of clients, and be responsible for full-cycle repairs from diagnostic to test cycle.

What You Will Do

  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and water-flow issues
  • Replace pumps, belts, seals, bearings, and control boards
  • Run test cycles and document every repair
  • Explain findings to clients on site

What We Look For

  • 1+ year of appliance or mechanical repair experience
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Willingness to learn commercial laundry platforms

Residential Appliance Technician

Full-Time NYC & Tri-State $22 – $34 / hour

Service in-home washers and dryers for residential clients across the city. This role focuses on front-load and top-load machines, stacked units, and high-efficiency models from all major residential brands.

What You Will Do

  • Perform in-home diagnostics and repairs
  • Work with LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, GE, and Bosch platforms
  • Explain repair options and pricing to homeowners
  • Keep a clean, respectful work area in every home

What We Look For

  • 1+ year of residential appliance repair experience
  • Strong communication skills with non-technical clients
  • Valid driver's license and reliable attendance
  • Neat, professional appearance

Service Coordinator / Dispatcher

Full-Time Brooklyn HQ $20 – $28 / hour

Be the voice of the company on the phone. You will handle incoming calls, book appointments, coordinate technician routes, and help clients understand what to expect. Prior experience in a service or dispatch environment is a plus, but we will train the right person.

What You Will Do

  • Answer incoming calls and emails
  • Schedule service visits and confirm ETAs
  • Coordinate technicians by borough and job type
  • Keep accurate records in our dispatch system

What the Hiring Process Looks Like

Four steps, roughly two weeks from application to offer for qualified candidates.

Meet the team, tour the shop, and for technician roles, walk through a diagnostic scenario together.

References, background check, and a start date. First week includes paid onboarding and safety training.

Career Questions

Do I need prior laundry equipment experience?

No. For technician roles, we look for mechanical aptitude and a good work ethic. If you have experience with other appliances or mechanical systems, we can train you on laundry platforms.

Is a driver's license required?

For field technician roles, yes. You need a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Dispatcher roles do not require driving.

Are there part-time options?

Most field roles are full-time. We occasionally hire part-time dispatchers or weekend coverage staff. Mention your availability in your application.

Do you offer paid time off?

Yes. Full-time employees accrue paid vacation and sick leave after an initial period. Specifics are covered in the offer letter.

Is there a probation period?

Yes, a standard 90-day introductory period for new hires. During this time you receive full pay and benefits eligibility, and we both decide whether the fit is right.

Where are you located?

Our headquarters and shop are at 458 Cozine Ave in Brooklyn. Field technicians report to the shop at the start of each day unless a route directs otherwise.
